The Greatest Teacher

There are many people to don’t want to follow God because they’re afraid that He’ll be an insationable task-master. That’s far different from how God revealed Himself in the Bible and throughout History. In fact, the greatest example of a humble servant is Jesus.

God asks us for obedience. Yet He does this so that you can be free to enjoy His blessings and to protect you. His purposes are always to grow us into the image and likeness of Christlike character.en2006lp.nfo-o-7d

God doesn’t answer the cries of your heart with fleeting remedies or quick fixes. He grows you in holiness and love so that you can experience the abundant life to the deepest degree.

“You have one Teacher, the Christ. The greatest among you will be your servant.” Matthew 23:10-11 NIV

In Paul’s time, false teachers forged letters of recommendation in order to establish their authority. Yet Paul declared that he didn’t need any of these letters. Do you know why?

Because whenever he taught about Jesus, human hearts were changed, healed and transformed which confirmed God’s approval and authority.woman-worshipping

God enables you to teach others about Jesus too! Although theological training can be very useful to have, nothing is more important to living and experiencing a personal, real, vibrant and deeply intimate relationship with Jesus Christ where his Spirit permanently writes on your heart.

“You are a letter of Christ, cared for by us, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God.” 2 Corinthians 3:3 NASB

Friends, you have this truth engraved within you! In fact, you are a bearer of His good news! As the body, God has gifted every person with different talents, personalities and gifts. Wise people know that they never stop learning – and until we reach glory, we will continue to be refined in His image.

We can rejoice in the fact knowing that He is within us and is teaching and leading us deep within our hearts through the power of the Holy Spirit.

May your life be a blessing to all who see the living Christ shine from within you!
